The ORIGINS

LOGO-IN-SQUARE transparent.png

CERTINTEX was established to meet the needs of the Peruvian textile industry for a laboratory that does quality control testing and to contribute to the improvement of local product quality.

CERTINTEX began its activities in December 1999, becoming the first textile testing laboratory in Peru and the most modern in South America. Following the pioneering spirit and dedication to its customers of the founder, Mr. Gianangelo Nava, an Italian living in Peru since 1973, CERTINTEX grew with the characteristic passion for work of his hometown, Bergamo (Italy), and quickly became a support point for the Peruvian textile industry, positioning itself alongside the world's leading laboratories, being recognized for its innovation in technology, certifications, and research.

Accomplishments in
HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS

In 2002, CERTINTEX implemented the first Quality Management System according to the ISO/IEC 9001 standard. In 2007, it obtained the NTP ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from INDECOPI, now known as INACAL (Institute of Quality of Peru), and in 2010, it obtained a second ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the American organization ANAB (ANSI National Accreditation Board). These accreditations have allowed CERTINTEX to be recognized by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) as one of the few authorized laboratories to perform safety tests in South America.

Afterwards, a Health and Safety system was implemented in accordance with Law No. 29783, which helped to improve the culture of occupational risk management in the workplace.
